Thohoyandou
Thohoyandou ist die frühere Hauptstadt des ehemaligen Homelands und heute das Zentrum dieser Region.
Lake Funduzi
Der heilige Lake Funduzi spielt eine zentrale Rolle in der Spiritualität der vhaVenda. Der drei mal fünf Kilometer große See wird von einer „Gott-Phython“ bewacht, die von Zeit zu Zeit „Geschenke“ erwartet (Bier). Dieser Ort darf nur mit Erlaubnis der Priesterin oder des Häuptlings betreten werden.
Thate Vondo Forest
Vom Thate Vondo Forest gibt es einen Aussichtspunkt auf den See. Dieser heilige Wald schließt auch Mount Thate ein, die letzte Ruhestätte der Venda-Königsfamilie. Viele Bereiche dürfen nicht betreten werden.
Phiphidi Falls & Gavhukuvhu Pool
Diesen Wasserfällen, nahe Nzehelele, wird eine ganz besondere Kraft zugesagt. Der Geist des Wasser - Zwidutwane - soll helfen, die Beziehung zu den Ahnen zu begünstigen. Noch heute werden Gaben an den Pool gelegt, in der Hoffnung, dass Zwidutwane hilft. Besucher werden gebeten, die Gaben nicht zu berühren, mitzunehmen oder zu zerstören.
Dzata Ruins
Die Dzata Ruins gehen zurück auf das 14. Jahrhundert und war für kurze Zeit das Zentrum des Königreiches Venda.
