Sunshine Coast
Leave N2 highway at Ncanara and follow the road to Port Alfred. You'll drive through farmland until you reach the Indian Ocean at Boesmansriviermond. The coastal scenery is characterised by rivers that create beautiful set-ups while running into the sea. Numerous coastal resorts, like Kenton-on-Sea and Port Alfred are waiting for you!

East London
This town with its international airport is a seaside resort itself. Furthermore it is known as the gateway to the beautiful beaches of the Wild Coast further North.

Grahamstown
…was the capital (now: Bisho) of the Eastern Cape Province for a long time.
The city was laid out in 1812 as a border post of the old Cape colony. In 1820 many British settlers arrived in Grahamstown. It was also here where the great treks to discover new land in the interior started. The Voortrekkers left from Grahamstown.
Grahamstown is known as the cultural and academic centre of the South East. This pleasant, small and elegant town with plenty of historic buildings is also called "City of the Saints" as it boasts 40 churches.
If you have some time left you should also visit Albany museum with artefacts from the settlers and from Africans. Observatory museum should also not be missed.
Not far away from town you can visit the Great Fish River Complex.
