Mbabane
Mbabane is the tranquil capital city of the Kingdom of Swaziland. The visitor is unlikely to spend much time here, not that it is unpleasant, it is just functional with little appeal other than to visit banks, post office or shops. There is quite an interesting Swazi Market to visit, but for a true Swazi experience, head for the hills to enjoy idyllic rural Africa. The old road to Manzini leads you through the lovely Ezulwini Valley.

Sibebe-Rock
The second largest monolith of the world is situated north of Mbabane on the Pine Valley Road. Guided tours are available.

Pine Valley - & Tea Raod
North of Mbabane you can follow the magnificent Pine Valley Road. Another scenic drive is the Tea Road. On the road to Manzini the Tea Raod (gravel) starts on the left hand side and offers wonderful views of the Ezulwini Valley. On top you can experience breathtaking rock formations - enjoy Swaziland "on the rocks".

Ezulwini Valley & Mantenga Village
The fertile Ezulwini Valley is situated between the two major towns of the kingdom, Mbabane and Manzini. This is pine-growing country! Lobamba is the heart of the valley. Monuments and museums can be found here and the culture of the Swazi people can be enjoyed. The king has his residence in Lobamba.
Most of the hotels (also: casinos) in Swaziland are located in this beautiful valley.
The Swazi Culture (language, dance, music…) can be explored in Ligugu Lemaswati Cultural Village (Mantenga Village). This village was built in a strictly traditional way using only natural materials. The idea behind was to maintain the tradition for the following generations and to show it to visitors.
