Piggs Peak
In this small, picturesque town you can still find an old country style hotel. Next to it is souvenir shop which offers exquisite jewelry made by local Swazi women.

The road from Piggs Peak further South is truly breathtaking. You'll also pass several stands where arts and crafts are sold. Have a stop and enjoy yourself! Just past Piggs Peak you might also take a detour (tarred!) via a huge dam. This road is also worth to travel.

Ngwenya Glass Manufacture
Next to the road from Mbabane to Oshoek border post lies the little village of Ngwenya with the oldest mine of the world in the backdrop. Here a small group of Swazi craftsmen and women breath life into enchanting interpretations of the animals and birds of Africa. Visitors can watch the art of glassblowing from a balcony. Only recycled glass is used!
Ngwenya is a popular stop while traveling Swaziland. A tea garden to relax as well as more shops for arts and crafts can be enjoyed on the property.

Swazi Candles
Near Mbabane and Manzini in the Malkerns Valley you should visit the little factory where the famous Swazi Candles are produced. All candles are handmade and you can watch the artists during their work. On the property you can also relax in a tea garden or visit the arts & crafts shop.
