Tembe near the border to Mozambique is known for the biggest elephants of Africa. Ndumu Game Reserve is famous for birding and its rich flora. Ndumu offers accomodation which can be booked with KZN Wildlife.

Kosi Bay
The diver's paradise is situated in the far Northeast of KwaZulu-Natal bordering Mozambique. Enjoy magnificent marine life.
Kosi Bay is part of the Greater St. Lucia Wetlands Park. It consists of 4 lakes that are linked up by a system of channels. Most roads are sandy and should only be driven in a 4x4. Humpback whales can be seen in Kosi Bay on their way to Mozambique. In December and January Loggerhead and Leatherback turtles will take over the beaches to lay eggs. Accommodation can be booked with KZN Wildlife.
