The Central Kalahari Game Reserve
(52.800km²) is the largest reserve of the country. Here you can enjoy
desert and wildlife. A permit is required. Scenery-wise you can enjoy
wide open spaces, dry rivers, sand dunes, mopane forests and salt
pans. Rainfall within the boundaries of the park varies from as little
as 170mm to 700mm.
