Blouberg (2.051m) is an isolated mountain in the Northern Bushveld of South Africa. Incredible sceneries and a rich flora and fauna can be experienced. Meanwhile an "Ivory Route Camp" for visitors of the area is operating.
Peter and Janine Snyman initiated the Blouberg Concervation Project to save the rich wildlife in this area. The project itself is situated in the Nature Reserve. The main aims are to reintroduce and rehabilitate birds of prey and reptiles. Furthermore the population of the area is taught the principles of nature conservation.
